EXHIBITIONS

We will start our adventure traveling around Poland with part of our collection in 2024 in Bielsko-Biała, at Galeria Bielska BWA, which has been famous for several decades as one of the leading ones in the country. We feel honored that it is in this gallery, and in the main hall on the ground floor, that we exhibit works by artists from Central Australia.

We invite galleries and other exhibition venues in Europe and beyond to cooperate with us.

09.02.2024 LECTURE ABOUT THE CULTURE OF THE INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIANS

Full of meanings and intentions, using lines and dots, Aboriginal art tells about the mythical events and topography of a given region.
At the exhibition at Galeria Bielska BWA, we present 30 paintings by 15 artists from the collections of Julianna and Richard Bednarowicz, as well as several art artifacts, the so-called First Nations.
The works at the exhibition show the two poles of Indigenous Australian creativity, visible in the art of Central Australia, east and west of Alice Springs.

Artists: Rosemary Petyarre, Polly Kngale, Kathleen Petyarre, Gracie Morton Pwerle, Cindy Wallace Nungurrayi, Paddy Sims Japaljarri, Bessie Sims Nakamarra, Mary Dixon Nungurrayi, Lynette Granites Nampitjinpa, Willy Tjungurrayi, Thomas Tjapaltjarri and Walala Tjapaltjarri, Barbara Reid Napangardi.
