Obraz przedstawia Kreację Drogi Mlecznej oraz wzory związane z ceremonią. Podczas Czasu Kreacji (Dream Time) Przodkowie Japaljarri i Jungurrayi przemierzyli długą drogę z północy do miejsca zwanego Yanjirlypiri, na zachód od Yuendumu. W czasie podróży dźwigali gwiazdy i stworzyli Drogę Mleczną. Specjalne miejsca geomorfologii terenu zostały stworzone w Czasie Kreacji przez spadające gwiazdy. Przodkowie nosili także rytualne kije witi i po drodze odprawiali ceremonie inicjacyjne dla młodych mężczyzn. Instruowali ludzi Warlpiri o prawie i mówili, by nie zapominali tego, czego się nauczyli. Niektórzy z nich zeszli pod ziemię, inni wrócili do Drogi Mlecznej.

Paddy Sims Japaljarri (1917–2010) przedstawił tę historię, używając tradycyjnej ikonografii ludu Warlpiri. Koncentryczne okręgi oznaczają miejsca ceremonii oraz inne ważne lokalizacje w krainie, gdzie rozgrywała się ta Historia. Białe okręgi symbolizują gwiazdy Drogi Mlecznej. Długie drewniane słupy ceremonialne witi zostały pokazane jako proste linie pośrodku i po obu stronach obrazu. Faliste linie przedstawiają Ngalyipi, tzw. winorośl wężową (łac. Tinospora smilacina), używaną do wiązania goleni tańczących wtajemniczonych. Autor cieszył się autorytetem ze względu na tradycyjną swą wiedzę i twórczość artystyczną. Obrazy podpisywał krzyżykiem. Jego prace znajdują się w najbardziej prestiżowych kolekcjach australijskich i zagranicznych.

The content of the painting is the Dreaming of the Milky Way and motifs related to this tradition. At the Time of Creation, two Ancestors - Japaljarri and Jungurrayi - traveled from the north to a place called Janjirlypiri on a long journey. They carried the stars with them and as they traveled, they created the Milky Way. Special places were created thanks to those Ancestors who found themselves on Earth as shooting stars. The ancestors also carried ritual witi poles and performed initiation rites for young men along the way. They taught the law and commanded the people not to forget the teachings they had received. Then some of them descended underground, and others returned to the Milky Way

Paddy Sims Japaljarri (1917 - 2010) presented this story using the traditional iconography of the Warlpiri people. The concentric circles represent the ceremony sites and other important locations in the land where this Dreaming took place. The white circles symbolise the stars of the Milky Way. The long wooden witi ceremonial poles are shown as straight lines in the center and on either side of the image. The wavy lines represent Ngalyipi, the so-called snake vine (Tinospora smilacina), used to bind the shins of dancing initiates.

The artists is an Elder, respected for his traditional knowledge and artistic work. He signs his paintings with a cross.

His works are in the most prestigious Australian and foreign collections.

The content of the painting is Dreaming of Fire (Warlu) and motifs relate to this tradition.

During the mythical Time of Creation, the Ancestors - Japaljarri and Jungurrayi - traveled throughout the entire land of the Warlipiri tribe on a long journey and created many geographical features, such as waterholes and rocks. They then lit small fires to light the bush and taught the people how and why to do it. After burning the bush, it is easier to catch lizards and other small animals, and the ash has a beneficial effect on the regrowth of various plants. Today, the Warlpiri perform ceremonies that continue this tradition.

Paddy Sims Japaljarri presented the story using traditional Warlpiri iconography. Concentric circles mark ceremonial sites and other important places in the land where mythical events took place. The black squiggly lines represent Warlu (Fire) and flames spreading across the area. The dots in the background symbolize vegetation.
