Born 1964. Thomas led a nomadic lifestyle - with his family - until 1984 in the northern area of Mackay, when he and his family lived in the settlement of Kiwirrkura (600 km west of Alice Springs). Like his brothers – Warlimpirrnga and Thomas – he began painting the Tingari Cycle.
* * Ancestors of Tingari they were the Mythological Creators who formed the world and taught the Pintupi peoples how to perform ceremonies and follow the laws.
Thomas, as well as his brother Walala, are respected seniors of their community due to the cultivation of traditional values, knowledge and artistic creations.
